Make the action easy to repeat
Use an implementation intention. This is an if-then plan that links an action to a cue.
Write: “If I meet a relevant person, I will send a three-sentence follow-up by 5 p.m. the next business day.”
The cue removes one small choice when you feel busy or tired. That makes the action easier to repeat.
